Zoe Hendrix has always kept it real when it comes to parenting, and her latest Instagram post is no exception.

The former Married At First Sight star shared two candid pictures of herself breastfeeding her daughter Harper who is nearly two years-old and revealed how she’s letting her toddler decide when she’s done.

“I never imagined our boobing journey would last this long! But here we are. Almost 2 years in😮,” she captioned her pictures.

“Most days I’m over it and ready for her to wean (feeding an active toddler is so different to feeding a baby in your arms!),” she continued. “But I’ve decided to let Miss Harper make that call when she is good and ready. Especially considering the changes she has experienced following our separation.”

“I know that breastfeeding offers her security and emotional nutrition. Not just food. So no matter where you are in your journey, just do what’s best for you and your child.”

Zoe and her partner Alex Garner split in April 2018, three years after meeting each other at the altar on the first season of MAFS. Their daughter Harper-Rose, was born in November 2016.

Following the separation, Zoe confirmed the news on Instagram saying, “It is with sadness that Alex and I would like to state that we will be separating for now. We are determined to ensure our beautiful daughter Harper-Rose continues to receive the unconditional love and nurturing she deserves from the both of us.”

The former reality star has made no secret of the fact that she wants to help normalise breastfeeding, just take a look at her Instagram account.

While travelling overseas, Zoe shared a breast pump selfie captioning it, “Breastfeeding can illicit some awkward stares but a loud pumping device attached to your boobs in a foreign country takes it to the next level. I could only smile and say moo moo.”
