It seems like only yesterday we were celebrating the arrival of not one, but two mini Wiggles babies as Lachy Gillespie and fiancée Dana Stephensen welcomed their twin daughters.
In September, the popular purple Wiggle announced that the two tiny tots had arrived safely, leaving fans baffled, albeit giddy at the news of a double whammy surprise birth.
Like many parents who’ve gone before them, the weeks have undoubtedly flown by as the pair continue to settle into life as guardians of two, very delicate and precious beings.
And now, it appears high time for Dana to encapsulate the experience to date.
Taking to her Instagram on Monday, the mother-of-three penned a beautiful tribute to Lachy, her twin daughters and everyone who had helped them along the way.
“Life with newborn twins is brimming full but we already can’t imagine life without them in our arms,” she began.
“This is just one of so many beautiful images captured by @bridgetwoodphotography when Lulu and Lottie were barely weeks old and already we have all grown and learned so much together in that time. It was so precious to stop and breathe in these moments and to now have such special photographs before life with twins really took off.”
Dana continued: “I also wanted to take a moment to say thank you to the people who have held us in their love and care, supported us near and far, our families and loved ones, and for every twin mama who has so generously shared pieces of advice and words of encouragement as we navigate this whole new world with our girls.
“I am grateful to every single one of you.”
She added that life with twin daughters was “certainly very full, busy, relentless and overwhelming at times,” before quipping: “I have utmost respect to any multiple parents out there!”
Finally, she thanked her husband to-be, Lachy: “So, so grateful for the beautiful man by my side each and every step of the way, @lachy_wiggle our children are so very lucky to have you as their Daddy,” adding: “And thank you Bridget for capturing this magic in the special way that you do.”
The pair welcomed their twin girls in September.
(Instagram)Dana’s following took straight to the comments section to voice their love and excitement to see the gorgeous new snap.
That included Emma Watkins, previously married to Lachy, who added four white heart emojis.
Fellow band-mate Simon Pryce, who is also expecting his own baby with wife Lauren Hannaford, also added a red heart emoji.
The twins make them a family of five, with Dana’s son Jasper also part of their growing brood.

Speaking about Lachy, Dana told the Daily Telegraph: “He’s just amazing and I just love him so much.”
