Karl Stefanovic’s eldest daughter Willow has just turned 17 and we can’t help but wonder what he’ll be buying the stylish teen for her birthday.
With a burgeoning career in the Australian fashion industry and a modelling contract to match, the chic youngster is already making a name for herself as a little fashion icon.
But while some may have expected Karl to gift her a Chanel handbag or designer jeans, it looks like the down-to-earth dad kept things simple for his daughter’s big day.
Karl marked the special occasion by showing off his best Ben Stiller “Blue Steel” impression with his arm around Willow, who joined in with her own take on the stare.

Bright pink decorations and colourful balloons that spelled out Willow’s age were visible in the background, suggesting the Today Show host had thrown a relaxed party for his eldest girl.
Step-mum Jasmine Stefanovic also chimed in, commenting a series of hearts on Karl’s post to send her love to Willow, whom she is understood to be quite close with.

Karl shares Willow, whose full name is Ava Willow, with his ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn who also celebrated one of their daughter’s special milestones this week.
On Thursday she posted a snap of the teen posing with her newly minted P-plates and a Mini Cooper can which once belonged to Cass.
“Yes she did! Two done, one to go,” the proud mum said, referring to her other children with Karl, sons Jackson, 22, and River, 15.
“I’ll get 6 months off teaching a learner driver before another 120 hours with the third and final child. Enjoy your newfound freedom my girl. I will miss my little car. What a gem it has been.”

While there she hit up popular local restaurants and, like any good fashion-lover, headed to the Chanel store to pose for a photo outside.
