Home and Away alum Dan Ewing and his fiancée Kat Risteska welcome their first baby together

Former Home and Away star Dan Ewing and his fiancée Kat Risteska have welcomed a baby girl!

The 37-year-old took to Instagram early Monday morning to announce the arrival of their daughter, who they named Nevaeh.

“My darling daughter. You were sent here by one very special guardian angel in particular of that I am certain,” he penned.

“Your beautiful Mum, big brother Archie and I are so blessed you found your way to us. Welcome to the world little girl. 22/07/2022. Nevaeh Catherine Ewing ❤️❤️❤️❤️.”

Alongside his heartfelt caption, the SAS Australia star shared adorable photos, one of little Nevaeh in Kat’s arms after being born, and another of himself proudly holding the newborn.

Nevaeh is the couple’s first baby together, while Dan already shares seven-year-old son Archie with his ex Marni Little.

The couple announced they were expecting a baby in March, when the actor shared a sweet video of him embracing Kat as she showed off her baby bump.

The exciting announcement came after Kat and Dan got engaged on December 9.

“All I want for Christmas is…,” Dan announced on Instagram, sharing a close-up shot of the ring on Kat’s finger.

Dan and Kat went public with their relationship in December 2016 when the Summer Bay alum shared a photo of the professional dancer writing on a Christmas card on his Instagram.

At the time, a source told the Daily Mail that the pair had known each other for years and even crossed paths on the Home and Away set, where Kat had briefly worked as a budding actress herself.

“They met when she was 19, because she belongs to the same management group that Dan used to belong to. So they’ve both known her for a long time,” a source told the publication.

During an interview on The Morning Show in 2018, Dan admitted it was him who first pursued Kat via social media.

“I was single for about eight months give or take… and then it was just months of stalking her [online] really!” he revealed.
