French native Samia Lila was serving at Mimosa Winery’s when she spotted an absolutely HUGE goanna, trying to mingle with the restaurant’s diners.

In incredible footage, the 25-year-old, who’s on a working holiday visa, dragged the monstrous reptile by the tail and took it outside.

Hilariously, Samia said she thought it was a dog at first.

She told Fairfax Media:

“I was just like a kid; I thought ‘I want to do it, I want to do it, I know it’s bad, but it was getting close to customers’.”

Her boss and owner of Mimosa, Glenn Butson, told the Courier Mail he’d had a similar experience and had told Samia about it:

“I recently told her a story about a goanna trapped in our shower and how I picked it up by the tail and carried it outside,” he said.

The video has since gone viral. We guess it’s a nice story for her friends to see in France?
