That ’70s Show star fired from new Netflix series amid rape claims

The actor absolutely denies all the allegations.

Netflix has today announced That ’70s Show actor, Danny Masterson has been fired from their hit comedy series, The Ranch amid the resurfacing of four rape allegations from the early 2000’s.

Masterson plays Jameson “Rooster” Bennett in The Ranch which he stars in alongside fellow That ’70s Show actor Ashton Kutcher.

Police are taking the rape allegations very seriously and are currently investigating one or more the claims according to TMZ.

At least one of the women submitted a police report at the time of the incident, saying that she was raped by *The Ranch actor while she was unconscious.

Danny Masterson has absolutely denied the 15-year-old claims apparently made by an ex-girlfriend and three other women from the Scientology community.

Speaking to TMZ this week, Danny stated:

“I am obviously very disappointed in Netflix’s decision to write my character off of The Ranch. From day one, I have denied the outrageous allegations against me.

“Law enforcement investigated these claims more than 15 years ago and determined them to be without merit.”

He also tells the publication that he has never been charged with or convicted of a crime in his life.

“In this country, you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, in the current climate, it seems as if you are presumed guilty the moment you are accused.”

The actor has been married to actress Bijou Phillips since 2011 and they have one child together, three-year-old Fianna Francis Masterson.

The family is highly regarded in the Scientology community, who have been accused of attempting to cover up the rape allegations in the early 2000s.
