She was mercilessly trolled by online bullies when a photo of her without makeup on went viral – now Ashley VanPevenage is fighting back.

Ashley, 20, was stunned when she logged on to the Instagram account one morning to find a picture of her had been shared by tens of thousands of people around the world.

The image, which shows Ashley with and without makeup, had attracted the attention of cyberbullies, who began posting hurtful comments about Ashley’s acne.

The incident shattered Ashley’s confidence, leaving her scared to leave her home.

“I have never been one to be uncomfortable with going out in public in my natural skin and my natural hair until this picture was posted,” she said.

Now, Ashley has hit back, declaring “This is who I am” in a video sure to inspire many young girls struggling with bad skin and breakouts. Bravo Ashley! Watch her brave video below.
