Model with Down Syndrome makes New York Fashion Week debut

An 18 year old Brisbane girl with Down Syndrome made her runway debut New York Fashion Week.

Australian Down Syndrome model, Madeline Stuart, has made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week when she walked for FTL Moda.

The label is known for supporting appearance diversity by using models in wheelchairs and amputees.

Madeline, the 18 year old Brisbane beauty, will be the second woman with Down Syndrome to walk the NYFW catwalk. Her comment on Facebook was “yahoo and yippee.”
