Mother Nature strikes again.

The weather wreaked havoc over the weekend in NSW with heavy rain and destructive winds.

If you managed to stay dry indoors, you missed a helluva show from Mother Nature.

More than 500 people were evacuated from low-lying suburbs in Sydney’s southwest and parts of the north, with thousands of calls made to the SES.

Plus, 3,000 people were displaced and there were 281 flood rescues.

Incredible images and videos have emerged on social media of people’s vision of the storm in their local area. Scroll through to see the damage the rain caused.

Coastal suburbs in the Northern Beaches were smashed with massive waves, with the Bureau of Meteorology recording waves up to 13m high overnight.
