It’s the backfiring birthday present that’s got this mum scratching her head and demanding answers – answers that don’t involve a whole horde of expletives.

This is something Rachael Horton of Birmingham in the UK is currently feeling perplexed over – and rightfully so…

Mum of two-year-old Aria, Rachael had bought a walking, talking doll for her daughter’s birthday, only to find that instead of saying “Mama” and “Papa” like the doll was supposed to, it’s said…

“You b* * *h!”

No, we’re not joking.

^^^ Can you make out what the doll is saying?

The swearing My Little Baby Born Walks doll prompted obvious disgust in the 28-year-old mum, who quickly contacted the shop (Argos in the UK) where she bought the doll.

“I’m shocked, especially as it’s very clear what the doll is saying,” Rachael tells The Daily Mail.

“She’s supposed to say ‘Mama’ and ‘Papa’ but instead she seems to be saying ‘you b* * *h’.”

“Now my two year old is copying her and trying to say ‘b* * *h’ herself.”

One word: SHOCKING.

The German manufacturers, Zapf Creation, who produce the dolls have said that they create these dolls to give young children and parents the opportunity to engage in fun, imaginative parent-child play.

“The My Little BABY born Walks doll includes baby babble sounds that are in no way meant to represent language or cause any offence to users,” Zapf Creation stated.

This came after the company’s initial reaction to Rachael’s complaint, which made to the Baby Born Facebook page.

As reported by the BBC, Rachel was told that the doll was, in fact, saying “jippih”. Translation? Yippee…

Rachael’s mission following this [insert expletive here] unthinkable experience? She wants these dolls pulled from supermarket shelves immediately.
