JFK airport evacuated after gun shots

Police are responding to calls of shots fired in JFK Airport on Sunday night local time.

NYPD confirmed they’re investigating reports of gunfire at the Queens airport’s Terminal 8 which allegedly happened at about 9:30pm, reports local news outlets.

Police are evacuating the area while they search for a suspect. No injuries have been reported.
