A Canadian grocery store has started selling avocadoes halved and peeled in plastic and cardboard packaging.
And naturally, it has caused quite the stir on social media.
Shopper Christine Kizik took to Facebook to express her disappointment with the wasteful packaging of the pre-cut avocadoes and soon after, the post went viral.
Sobeys, the supermarket which sells the avocadoes, responded to the criticism and justified its decision to sell the product.
