Teen who died in horror crash was killed in front of six family members

A 16-year-old girl has tragically died in a horror crash on the Pacific Highway near Port Macquarie. Jade Finn died in front of six family members as she was thrown from the family car which had rolled several times after a van pulled out in front of them.

Jade died at the scene and her family members were take to John Hunter Hospital.

NSW Police are investigating the horrific accident and the van’s driver was taken to Port Macquarie Base Hospital for mandatory tests.

Tributes are flowing in for the popular Toronto High School student.

One friend wrote on Facebook: “I can’t believe it’s a goodbye to this beautiful girl, I love you so much and it’s so devastating that I couldn’t say goodbye to you or hear your last word.

“I’m sorry that this happened to you, you didn’t deserve to die like this at such a young age, fly high my beautiful best friend you’ll always be loved and remembered by your family and all your friends.”

Another said: “Can’t believe your gone…I love you so much best friend and I don’t know what I’m going to do without you. I know you’re watching over me but it’s just not the same. You will always be my best friend. I will never forget you jadey xoxo #forever16”

It’s the second fatality on the Pacific Highway since the school holidays began.
