Meghan Markle's estranged sister Samantha Grant has opened up her famous sibling and her new memoir, The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister.
During an appearance on Good Morning Britain, the 52-year-old spoke highly of the princess-in-waiting -- as she has become known -- and denied ever having made nasty comments about the passionate humanitarian.
"In my view you are either sisters or not and she's my sister,” she said. “She's absolutely lovely. She's strong, educated and graceful and she will be a compliment to her work.”
She added: “The British people and the world will be surprised by how graceful and lovely she is. She will bring so much to her role as part of the royal family. The world will be surprised."
Instead of a “slamming tell-all” (as was previously alluded to), Samantha described the forthcoming book as a “beautiful, warm, witty story of our lives and my life.”
"It's only a tell-all in that I go through and recant some of the beautiful nuances of our lives, our family home," she explained. "But more importantly it has to do with the inter-racial evolution of this country through the lens of my life and my family since the Civil Rights Act until present and how that intersects with this recent event with my sister, you know, my feelings about it, my family's feelings about it and how sad it was going through it all.”
When asked if she was expecting an invitation to the rumoured royal wedding, she replied: "I'm quite a distance away, but of course I would go. I don't know whether I would be hurt if I wasn't offered an invite. I don't know, but we'll see."

Samantha and Meghan share the same father, Thomas Markle, but are reported not to have seen each other in nearly a decade.
As previously reported, the mother-of-three said that her sibling always had royal ambitions.
“Her behaviour is certainly not befitting of a Royal Family member," she told The Daily Star, before adding that she was driven by “social climbing."
“Hollywood has changed her. I think her ambition is to become a princess.”
“It was something she dreamed of as a girl when we watched the royals on TV. She always preferred Prince Harry — she has a soft spot for gingers.”
She also told RadarOnline that "The royal family would be appalled by what she's done to her own family,” adding: “The truth would kill her relationship with Prince Harry."

As we all await that official confirmation from the Palace that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are engaged, it seems the much-loved couple are getting closer to locking down a wedding date.
The Mail on Sunday have reported that Prince Harry’s aides have been told to start planning the royal wedding.
"Senior members of the Royal Family are understood to have been asked to look at their diaries to shortlist a series of suitable weekends next year – the clearest sign yet that an engagement announcement is imminent."
As for the big day, The Mail says don't expect a wedding anytime soon with royal nuptials out of the question until Prince William and Kate’s third child is born.
The fevered wedding update comes off the back of Prince Harry taking his "unofficial" fiance Meghan Markle to meet with his grandmother Queen Elizabeth.
The Mail explained the catch-up was "informal" and organised to "settle any nerves Meghan might have felt."
We have our eyes peeled and ears to the ground for any sign of the happy news!
