Andrew Bloomfield, 27, married Ruth Driskill, 37, hours before the fatal crash, which happened on Sunday at 4pm in northern Ohio’s Wyandot County.

The driver reportedly lost control of the pickup truck carrying a group to the wedding reception.

Wedding guest Elizabeth Shelton, 26, was also killed in the horror smash and driver, Timothy Tebbe was critically injured.

The Bucyrus Telegraph-Forum reported on Tuesday that the pickup truck hit an embankment and rolled several times after it had veered off the road.

In his final Facebook post Bloomfield wrote: “Soon I will be a married man…” PHOTO: Facebook.

Local sheriff’s officers reportedly believe no one in the car was wearing their seat belts when the smash occurred.

In his last Facebook post the groom said he was “ready to start a new chapter,” WBNS news reports.

“I never thought I would find that person to settle down with but I guess I just got lucky. Soon I will be a married man,” he reportedly added.

Jessica Lehner, who was a friend of the groom, told America’s ABC News that Bloomfield was like a brother to her.

“They were just getting ready to start a life together and then three hours later or so, it just happened, and he’s just gone,” said Lehner.
