For most parents, the words ‘summer holidays’ are synonymous with a myriad of things – think: weeks of attempting to keep your kids from fighting with each other, ensuring they’re minds are kept busy so you have even the slightest chance of getting last week’s washing done.

Y’know, the usual.

^^ Summer Holidays Mum.

So, what would make life so much easier during this busy time of the year (aside from an endless supply of sleep and a glass or two of pinot noir)? Well, anything – which is why Jamie’s Italian FREE kids’ meals are bringing us about as much joy as an uninterrupted binge-athon of Downton Abbey.

In #breakingnews (OK, to us), Jamie’s Italian offers a ‘kids eat free’ special across all six of their restaurants in Oz (!!!) during EVERY school holiday period.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

How does it work? For every main course ordered, one child can enjoy a meal on the house, chosen from the six award-winning dishes from the kids’ menu, all made with fresh produce and served with a shake-me salad and drink.

^^ Tears of joy, welcome

Designed by Jamie Oliver himself, along with his team, these meals are loaded with nutrition so you’ll be left with zero food guilt after your kids have tucked into Jamie-fied food.

The catch? You may lose a finger while trying to pry one of Jamie’s Happy Chicken Lollipops from your five-year-old’s hand just so you can try its deliciousness for yourself.

The Summer Holidays Kids Eat Free offer runs until this Sunday, January 14, so get in quick! You can find your closest Jamie’s Italian, and check out the kids’ menu, here.
