Aussie funny girl Rebel Wilson has come a long way since her Hollywood debut in the 2011 surprise hit Bridesmaids.
She recently added model to her list of achievements after posing with a group of half-naked hunky male models for US magazine Details, in which she was featured as “the next big thing”.
This year she has already starred in six movies and is also busy reworking her sitcom Super Fun Night for ABC in the US.
“America’s a bigger market and more competitive,” the 26-year-old tells the magazine.
“But I had the confidence of having written and/or starred in, like, 13 different shows in Australia.”
And with her new best friend Little Britain‘s Matt Lucas as her real-life flatmate and biggest supporter, she’s likely to find herself in the limelight for some time to come.
“He comes in handy,” Rebel says of Matt.
“When I wanted to pull this stunt at the VMAs [Video Music Awards] wearing a bikini with pubic hair sticking out, I tried the idea out on him first.”
