“My best feature is unfortunately a private matter.”

Most of us of would rather gouge our eyes out than casually chat about our vaginas.

Be it prudishness or perceived politeness, talk of down there never seems as socially acceptable as moaning about the end of Game of Thrones or discussing Kmart’s new homewares.

Which is crazy when you think about it. Because there are over 12.20 million females in Australia. Who all have vaginas.

A huge 69 percent of Aussie women experience some kind of vaginal odour, itchiness or dryness, yet most stay silent and seek no treatment. (FYI, Vagisil Fresh Plus Intimate Wash is gynaecologist-tested and promises 24 hour odour protection to keep you clean, fresh and confident.)

Which means we owe it to ourselves — and each other — to talk about vaginas and intimate health issues (in more than a whisper). Vagisil is leading the way, encouraging all women to push past the awkwardness and be shameless about vaginal health. They don’t believe that “vagina” is a taboo word — and neither do these celebrities!

Check out these 10 celebrities getting refreshingly real and candid about vaginas…

“It’s work having a vagina. Guys don’t think that it’s work, but it is. You think it shows up like that to the event? It doesn’t. Every night it’s like getting it ready for its first Quinceañera, believe me.” — Amy Schumer

“I felt like my vagina died. Turned off. Lights out… And you can lie to your relatives at Christmas dinner and tell them everything on the home front is just peachy. But you cannot lie to your vagina” — Olivia Wilde

“Sparks don’t grow… your vagina doesn’t become more inclined to wanting someone just because you’re around them.” — Amanda Seyfried

Olivia Wilde: “I felt like my vagina died. Turned off.”

“My best feature is unfortunately a private matter, although I’m told it is spectacular. But you can’t really walk it down the red carpet.” — Kate Beckinsale

“It’s the place where all the most painful things have happened. But it has given me indescribable pleasure.” — Madonna

“I have this weird thing that if I sleep with someone [I think] they’re going to take my creativity from me through my vagina.” — Lady Gaga

“When I came back from the hospital [after giving birth], the first thing I did was go and look at my vagina in the mirror. It looks better looking than before!” — Kim Kardashian

“I know Kim is completely bare, and now she says she wishes she still had a lil’ somethin’ going on, but she lasered it all off. But I like that if I ever want to go bare, I can just shave it and change my mind later.” — Khloe Kardashian
