If you’re feeling a little stumped in this trans-seasonal, temperamental and confusing abyss we currently call weather, you’re not alone.

One might look in their wardrobe each morning, reaching for what they think will work for the day ahead, only to walk outdoors and find the chilly morning air a little bitey, or on the other end of the spectrum, a little too flushingly humid.

But fear not, fellow fashion-fiends. Two very stylish Australian women are here to provide you all the autumnal wardrobe inspiration – with a springtime twist.

Zoe Foster-Blake and Lisa Wipfli have been good pals for a while, so we’re not surprised the pair tend to take inspiration from the other when it comes to their wardrobe.

This week, the pair have been on holiday together with their families – and in a sneaky snap shared to Zoe’s Instagram story, they proved they’re not just friendship goals, but also outfit goals.

While their current holiday spot of choice, Hayman Island, is a little warmer than what other cities and towns across the country might be experiencing, Lisa and Zoe’s long-sleeved pastel frocks are still just as perfect for a slightly cooler day.

Zoe’s peachy Acler design, which featured a deep crossover V neck and long billowing sleeves looks effortless with its pop of colour.

As it gets cooler, the style can be accessorised with a pair of winter boots, a chic scarf or a chunky jacket.

Zoe’s gorgeous peach dress is a transseasonal dream.

Meanwhile Lisa Wipfli, who is also a fashion influencer to her 30,000 following wore a perfect smock-style pastel blue drop-waist dress, also featuring long sleeves.

Again, the design, while this time a little short, is the perfect layering piece – wear it on its own with a pair of boots, or if it gets a little chillier, pop a pair of tights and a crop jacket with the ensemble and you’re away laughing.

Lisa’s pastel blue dress is also what dreams are made of.

While pastel is usually a go-to colour in spring, Lisa and Zoe are picture proof that it’s well on-trend to rock the hue right now.

So, for a little extra inspiration, we took it on ourselves to find the dreamiest pastel dresses that will perfectly see you through to winter – and maybe beyond… just add layers.
