Duchess Catherine’s royal tour of Scotland has been a whirlwind of activity, fanfare and very apt wardrobe choices.

While the Duchess’ style is usually understated, modest and chic, Kate’s jazzed things up a little for the Northern UK country by adopting one of its most iconic timeless trends – tartan.

From royal blues to bright reds, the Duchess is going all out for the country that is known for its scenic charm and centuries-old architecture.

Of course, it’s part and parcel for royals to wear clothes that reflect the country they’re visiting – in Kate’s instance, she’s a country chameleon.
