In a moment of pure hilarity at the 63rd TV Week Logie Awards, host Sam Pang was roasted by Have You Been Paying Attention panellist Ed Kavalee after the comedy program won ‘Most Popular Comedy Program‘ for the fourth time.

Sam has been a regular panellist on the weeknight program, and real life friends with fellow comedian Ed.

That of course didn’t stop Ed from poking fun at his missing Have You Been Paying Attention co host who whilst on stage with him, wasn’t accepting the award alongside him.

“Thank you so much,” Ed said to the crowd and the viewers watching from home before adding “and what about a massive hand for our missing colleague Sam Pang,” to which there was rapturous laughter through the room.

Ed then jested at Sam’s opening monologue telling him “the comments [on social media] are not going your way.”

“They didn’t like the submarine joke and you might want to block Kochie,” he added.

The crowd were in stitches!

Ed then went on to reveal that it was a pleasure being a part of Have You Been Paying Attention, especially considering how he worked with “five of the funniest people in Australia,” Sam of course being one of them.

The compliment however was short lived, Ed telling the audience that only “two” of the five were in the room at the Logies with him, including fellow award recipient and Have You Been Paying Attention host Tom Gleisner.
