I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! All Stars 2023 has a confirmed premiere date, meanwhile we are praying this spin-off’s concept comes to Australian shores.

The new version, I’m A Celebrity South Africa has officially premiered as of April 24 and will air for three weeks as a number of a-list celebrities enter the jungle for the second time.

The series airs April 24.

The concept of I’m A Celebrity All Stars follows off the success of the original I’m A Celebrity series but this time, fan favourites who have competed in previous seasons will return in an ultimate showdown.

The reality series is set in Kruger National Park, one of South Africa’s largest game reserves.

Normally, I’m A Celebrity is filmed in Australia but given the competitors are ‘veterans’ the producers plan on pushing them ever harder!

Celebrities set to join the ‘jungle’ include Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell, boxer Amir Khan, former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan, TV presenter Carol Vorderman, former international cricketer Phil Tufnell and retired athlete Fatima Whitbread.

Fans interested in watching I’m A Celebrity All Stars 2023 can find it on ITV1 and ITVX as of April 24 at 9pm.

Could there be an all Aussie version?

The spin-off series was first confirmed in May 2022 by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly. Unlike the original, the spin-off is actually pre-recorded and was filmed in late 2022.

A source previously told MailOnline: “The team behind I’m A Celebrity are making a brand new spin off of the hit series featuring the most loved, favourite campmates from previous years.”

“The show is still very much based in the world of I’m A Celebrity – the camp mates will be doing trials and living in the camp environment, but with fresh and exciting new twists on the format.”

“The camp mates will have a hand in their own destiny through a series of internal votes and challenges.”

However, the spin-off won’t have a public voting system like the original series given it has been pre-recorded.

If I’m A Celebrity All Stars ratings succeeds, there no doubt fans will be begging for an Australian version! There are definitely plenty of fan favourites we are eager to see return to the jungle.
