Network 10 has unveiled the cast and plot details for its upcoming Aussie drama series Five Bedrooms – and Home and Away fans of Brax will be VERY happy.
Stephen Peacocke is one of the stars at the helm of the new series, marking his first TV role since Wanted.
The actor is joined by a stellar line-up, with the other series leads Kat Stewart (Offspring), Doris Younane (McLeod's Daughters), Katie Robertson (Rosehaven) and Roy Joseph (Back In Very Small Business).
Also starring in the upcoming series are Kate Jenkinson (Wentworth) and Hugh Sheridan (Packed To The Rafters).
Five Bedrooms tells the story of five strangers who meet at the singles table at a wedding.
After knocking back a few too many drinks, the five vastly different characters decide the solution to all of their problems is to buy a house together. A really big, five bedroom house.
Network 10's Head of Drama, Rick Maier, calls the series "original" and "sharp."
"Who knew a singles table at a wedding could be this much fun?" he says. "What happens next is the platform for a brilliantly original, sharp and contemporary series. We have our families, and we also have the random people we collect on the way."
Production will commence on filming Five Bedrooms in Melbourne tomorrow, with 10 confirming the show will be 'coming soon' to the network.
We're really looking forward to seeing this one! Let us know what you think in the comments.
