He told us he wanted to bring more “camp to the camp” before entering the jungle and Carson Kressley did just that after being dropped into the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here jungle as an intruder.
The Queer Eye for the Straight Guy legend told NW that as much as he wanted to live happily ever after with the genetically blessed Kris Smith, it just didn’t work out, proving that perhaps fairytales don’t exist after all.
Can you really blame Carson for being into Kris? LOOK AT HIM!
NW: Now, last time we spoke you said you’d love to catch up with Kris after the show for a strawberry milkshake. Has this happened yet?
You know what, I’m trying to track him down! I think he might be avoiding me…
Don’t be so hard on yourself. Maybe he just got a new number and hasn’t passed it on to you yet…

We have to ask… what the vibe like between Keira and Kris? There seemed to be some tension there despite rumours they’d hooked up in the past.
Only bad vibes. I think everyone sensed that he was really into me and they probably backed off. It was palpable.
Now Keira did get a pretty hard time from the camp-mates. How did you feel about that? You guys seemed quite close…
I know Keira is an acquired taste. I know some people weren’t really loving her vibe. I was just very lucky because I came in late and had no prejudices about anybody. I had my own individual relationships with everybody and I didn’t ever feed into the group mentality. I was going to get to know everyone myself and make my own judgement.
So what did you make of Steve Price then? He wasn’t always a crowd favourite.
Steve was a bit grumpy. But I think he’s not negative grumpy, he’s just like genetically grumpy. I think he’s got a good heart and wants everyone in there to do well. You can’t take that dad vibe away from him. I think it’s just who he is.
Now you’re back in the real world, what’s next for you?
I’m going to go to Cabo San Lucas for a week and drink all the margaritas.
So we should expect some paparazzi shots of you and Kris together there then?!
I hope so. If there aren’t any of us I’ll photoshop myself into a couple.
