Family Feud host and Gold Logie nominee Grant Denyer has hit the red carpet at the 2018 TV WEEK Logie Awards with his wife Cheryl and what a power couple these two are!

And it’s safe to say that Cheryl, who was described by husband, Grant, as “the backbone of his career,” is one proud wife.

“He’s done it all himself, I’ve just been a very supportive wife cause I love him and I’m proud of what we’ve been through, what he’s been through, yeah I really hope that this is his year.”

As Grant’s number one fan, Cheryl has been working hard to get her husband on everyone’s radar and turned the Logies voting into a major campaign.

“We’ve had thousands of emails from people saying he makes a big difference in their lives. With Family Feud being rested, it would be just phenomenal.”

“If he wins gold, I will probably cry, I picture myself climbing up on the table and leaping up but I’ll try to be more reserved.”

The Denyers shared a romantic snap from their Gold Coast hotel room.

And Grant himself gave a glowing review of his wife.

The two shared some loved-up snaps from their hotel room as they prepared for the red carpet, and the Gold Logie nominee confessed that it was good to have some down-time before the night kicks off.

“It’s a pretty intense experience. We just wanted to take a moment to ourselves. We welled up, it was nice. A little cuddle before it got really serious.”

“As much for as it is for me, it’s nice we can share this experience together. I wouldn’t be here without her. We’re a pretty good double act.”

“This is about celebrating her efforts and sacrifices and commitments to building us up. So it’s nice.”

And seeing as Grant’s show Family Feud is being rested, both he and Cheryl admitted it would be great to send it off with the party it deserves. The couple’s two girls, who are back at home, have their fingers crossed for a win too.

Cheryl says, “They said to Grant “Don’t come home until you bring back another trophy.” They want to have one each. Family Feud won two years ago and we’ve got that sitting at the best spot in the house so they want us to bring back another one.”

Good luck Grant!
