The Samatau tribe have been having a tough time on Australian Survivor this season.

Last night, AK made a bold move managing to eliminate Aimee from the competition.

“I still can’t get over it,” Aimee tells TV WEEK. “If I was going to go it had to be that way. It was just so funny, the look on my face. They got me and hats off to them, it was hilarious.”

Despite being the evil genius behind her elimination, Aimee has only admiration for fellow teammate AK.

“I think at the start, we were like this guy isn’t serious; he’s talking about chicken idols,” she says. “But then, I think people have started to realise he’s actually really smart and honestly I hope he goes a long way cause he deserves it.”

Aimee loved her time on the show.

“I love the way I left. I loved the game that I played,” she says. “It’s just a game and there is always going to be 23 losers.”

But she wasn’t prepared for just how tough the conditions would be.

“I didn’t think it would be as crazy as it was,” she admits. “I thought when they say they’ll give you nothing, they would sneak you some muesli bars and let you have a shower but that wasn’t the case at all. They give you nothing. You’re starving to death.”

At this stage of the game, Aimee thinks AK has what it takes to be the Sole Survivor.

“He’s so passionate about it,” she says. “Just give it to the poor kid. He obviously wants to win it.”

She also thinks Locky now has a target on his back.

“They want to get rid of Locky, but he’s carrying us in challenges. Hopefully he’ll stick around a lot longer.”

As for dark horses, Aimee thinks Peter or Jarrad could be gearing up to make some big moves – so they could be the ones to watch.
