Home and Away’s Georgie Parker shares a gritty and dishevelled throwback with Ray Meagher

It’s always a good day for Home and Away fans when a new throwback picture emerges, plus there is nothing quite as exciting as a behind-the-scenes moment.

The queen of sharing secret snippets from the soap set is Georgie Parker, and her most recent post did not disappoint.

Georgie took to her Instagram to share a picture of herself with her veteran co-star Ray Meagher.

In the shot, the two have their arms around each other as they smile into the camera.

However, there is one obvious detail that isn’t quite the everyday look one would expect.

The two actors are covered in gritty, slimy, and muddy dirt.

Georgie who plays Roo on the hit show captioned her post, “New headshots for Ray and and I 😂😳💜 btw this ep was shot 5 years ago 😅.”

The comment section erupted with high praise for the exciting throwback, with some fans speculating if the dirt was from the high school fire, while others believed it was from the caravan park explosion in 2016.

“Ooo was this when you were stuck in the high school?,” asked one fan.

Another replied, “caravan park explosion 2016.”

Other followers were less focused on the dirt-filled episode because they were more interested in seeing Georgie and Ray together.

“I absolutely enjoy seeing u guys on home and away and always laugh when Ray AKA Alf saying ‘oh flaming hell’ ahah you two are great actors. Hope nothing bad happens to u two!!!,” wrote a fan.

Another commented, “How have you both not aged in 5 years 😮 great photo 🥰.”

This post comes a few days after Ray, who plays Alf on the show, celebrated his 77th birthday.

Georgie commemorated his big day by sharing a beautiful shot of Ray with his co-stars on set along with a sweet message.

“Happy birthday to you Ray/ Father. We spend many hrs/days/weeks together, and I love every second of it. Aren’t I lucky🤸🏾‍♂️The whole cast and crew love you very much Happy 🥳 happy birthday 🥂💋,” Georgie penned.
