Inside Ada Nicodemou and Adam Rigby’s whirlwind love story

Home And Away star Ada Nicodemou and her partner Adam Rigby’s love story is one for the ages.

From the way the couple met to the adorable selfies they share with her son, Johnas, Ada and Adam make for one very loved-up couple.

Ada debuted her new relationship at the 2018 TV WEEK Logie Awards not long after they met and fell in love.

“It’s such a great night,” Ada told TV WEEK. “And it’s always lovely to be able to share it with a partner. I love the Logies – it’s really special.”

Adam, a newcomer to the spotlight, had already become accustomed to Ada’s, er, habits.

“I could move house, renovate and she’ll still be getting ready,” he joked, as Ada playfully nudged his shoulder.

“I’m a typical girl,” she said with a laugh. “I love getting ready and trying on dresses.”

Adam and Ada met at an event, and as it turns out, the businessman had never seen Home And Away.

“We met at a work function and he had no idea who I was,” Ada recalled. “It’s kind of cool though, right? I like that he had no idea about the show.”

In an interview with TV WEEK Ada opened up about Adam taking on the role of a step-dad to son Johnas.

“Adam and Johnas adore each other; he’s such a great stepdad and has really stepped up,” she explained. “For a man to come into my world and love a child as if he were his own – and love me like I’ve never been loved before – is incredibly special.

“I rely on him a lot, which is a real first for me. I’ve never been able to do that before; I’ve always held the reins. So it’s nice to know he has our back – he’s a great man.

The ultimate family vacation! Ada shared a series of snaps on Instagram of her time in Rome, alongside Adam and Johnas.

“Ah Roma we love you!!” Ada captioned her Instagram carousel. “It was extremely hot- even for me.

“But loved walking around the city and just marvelling in her beauty. And of course, first meal when we landed was gnocchi.”

Ada’s man was the perfect partner at the Logies in 2022, and made sure he stood just enough behind her that the lights were only on Ada but close enough so she could feel his support.

They looked adorable during date night at the premiere of the Elvis biopic.

Adam is also really close with Ada’s son and in March they went to the Sydney premiere of The Bad Guys.

Ada celebrated her 45th birthday with her beloved partner by her side. They shared an intimate dinner in Sydney, and the Home and Away actress wore a spectacular yellow/green dress, which she perfectly paired with complimentary green eyeshadow.

She captioned her post from the evening, “Thanks so much babe for a beautiful birthday 🥳 and amazing food, felt very spoiled and loved 🥰.”

In her comment section, her ever-supportive castmates shared their sweet congratulatory messages.

Emily Symons posted, “Happy birthday Ada, you look so beautiful and happy ♥️ Can’t wait to hear all about your amazing birthday lunch 🥂🍽🎁,” to which Ada responded with, “@emilysymons_ It was so yummy.”
