As if having Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan in Australia wasn’t enough already, now another A-list power-couple are headed to the land Down Under: Victoria and David Beckham!

The pair, who are tight with the royal couple will be landing in Australia this month to attend the Invictus Games, which David is an ambassador for.

This will be a particularly exciting trip for Posh, who hasn’t been to Australia since her Spice Girls days – more than 20 years ago!

Speaking to Vogue Australia, the former pop singer said she was planning to make the most of her time in Sydney.

“When you’re young and travelling the world like that, you’d sit in your hotel room and watch TV. When you’re older, you want to get out and see things,” she said.

While it’s unconfirmed whether the couple’s four children, Harper, Cruz, Romeo and Brooklyn, will also travel with them, the A-list pair are sure to make heads turn either way during their visit.

Earlier this year, it was confirmed former soccer star David would be an ambassador for the Invictus Games, which will officially open on October 20 in Sydney.

The games, which sees wounded and sick defence force veterans from around the world compete in adaptive sports, were started by Prince Harry, who is also in Sydney at the moment with his wife Meghan.

It’s no secret the two couples are friendly, with the Beckhams attending the royal couple’s nuptials in May this year, so we’re hoping for a reunion between the couples!

David is not the only high-brow ambassador for the games. He’ll be joining a list of Australians including Olympic gold medallists Anna Meares and Ian Thorpe, comedian Hamish Blake and Sir Peter Cosgrove, who were also named ambassadors earlier this year.

And if Posh and Beck’s style is anything to go by, we’re pretty sure the pair will be donning some fashionable ensembles during their visit.

We’ve got our fingers crossed that they follow in royal suit and wear some Australian designers while in the country – during Meghan’s time in Australia it’s expected she’ll wear some local designers.

This is good news for our coveted brands, as royal fans have been known to flock to buy whatever the stylish Duchess wears, and we’re sure Victoria Beckham will have the same influence!
