Taylor Swift probably deserves a nomination for the most generous celebrity EVER when it comes to looking out for her fans.
As if it wasn’t enough that Taylor sent out a myriad of gifts to her fans in the lead up to Christmas, now the ‘Shake it Off’ star is even sending her fans to college!
Massive Taylor fan Rebekah got the shock of her life when she was sent $1,989 by Taylor to help pay off her student loans.
Taylor’s generous gift didn’t come out of nowhere. Dedicated fan Rebekah had been blogging and documenting her love for the star on her Tumblr and Twitter pages for some time, always making sure she tagged the star in the hopes of getting her attention.Obviously, in this case it worked!

Rebekah had also posted something up on her Tumblr page about her financial difficulties as she struggled to pay her student loans. Taylor’s card – and the big fat cheque- were her way of helping out with her fan’s stresses!
Rebekah documented the arrival of the gifts with photos on Twitter and Tumblr as well as a hilarious Youtube video of her rather emotional reaction upon opening her packages.
In Rebekah’s photos she shows the FedEx box with the ‘Fed’ part scratched out and ‘Taylor’ written over it in marker.
As well as the generous cheque for $1989 (a nod to the title of Taylor’s latest album) Rebekah was also given a hand written card and notes, an old necklace that used to belong to Taylor and a painting of Rebekah’s nick-name, hand-painted by the pop princess herself.
She also included a polaroid snap of herself sitting at her kitchen table painting the picture – as evidence that she really did it herself!

Hi you, I was thinking about you today, and how you have been cheering me on in the most thoughtful and creative ways.
I love the video you made of me and my friends and your text posts always crack me up or make me think.
I got out my paints for the first time in a while today and made you something.

I’m not a good painter but I think you’re so beautiful and positive, even though you’re dealing with the stress life brings, so I wanted to make you something.
