On-again off-again couple Samantha Armytage and boyfriend Paul O’Brien have reportedly split up after a whirlwind 12 month romance.
The pair, who met and struck up a relationship around November 2017, took a break in January, but apparently, a relationship hiatus hasn’t quite done the trick for the couple.

According to the Daily Telegraph, sources said the pair tried to reconciliate after taking a break in January, but it was to no avail.
“The pair attempted a reconciliation but now comes word the multi-millionaire O’Brien, who many hoped might be 42-year-old Armytage’s perfect match — cheeky, brash, fun-loving — has packed his toothbrush for good,” wrote Sydney Confidential writer Annette Sharp
Sunrise host Armytage reportedly met O’Brien, who is the managing director of aircraft charter company AVMIN, after she took a flight over the Gold Coast in one of his helicopters for a TV segment.
Paul is no stranger to TV personalities, having previously been married to Brisbane-based Ten Eyewitness News presenter Georgina Lewis.
Sparks flew from the get-go between him and Sam, with the couple quickly striking up a relationship and spending their time between Sam’s Bondi home and her Southern Highlands retreat.
Sam has been romantically linked to Seven newsreader Michael Usher and Modern Family star Eric Stonestreet in the past, but earlier in June last year, she admitted that she’d met someone special.
“There are good things happening… I don’t talk about anyone before I’m 100 per cent sure, because you have to keep some things private,” she told Who magazine.
Last October, the couple officially went public when they were seen enjoying an intimate breakfast in the exclusive Crystal Club at Crown Towers in Melbourne.
“They looked very happy together at Crown,” a source told Woman’s Day at the time.

By Christmas time, it was believed the pair would fly to New York together, with sources telling Woman’s Day that the lavish trip was arranged as a surprise for the blond television host.
“Sam has always wanted to have a white Christmas and Paul thought he would surprise her with the ultimate gesture – flying her to New York last minute on one of his private jets,” a source said at the time.
Whether the couple will reunite again remains to be seen, but there’s no doubt the beautiful Sam will continue to stun us on-screen – regardless of what’s happening in her love life!
