Since news of his very dramatic break-up with Alex Nation broke, our former Bachelor Australia star Richie Strahan has been all quiet on the western front, especially in the social media sphere.
Apart from the odd holiday pic or curly hair snap (he really does have a good mop), old mate Richie has barely said peep.
Although he’s still yet to officially address his break-up with the mother-of-one, who just 12 months ago he professed his undying love and life-long dedication for, the babing rope technician has taken a very clever approach when it comes to acknowledging his newfound single status.

They say a picture tells a thousand words and on Tuesday night, the 32-year-old took to Instagram to share a very risque black and white snap which showed him admiring his motorbike, sans shirt, complete with a big smile and an ever bigger 28-pack.
Because why post a heartfelt statement when you have killer abs?
“Casually smiling at my bike,” Richie joked.
We’re no body language expert but we’re pretty sure this means he’s doing fine! Just think of all the exciting adventures on the open road he and his bike will have, wind in his (very good) hair, getting away from it all – the perfect cure for heartbreak!
Fans were quick to flood the photo with positive messages of support.
“There’s a bike in this picture?” One person said.
“Woahhhhhhhhhhh that’s one way to ride out this wave,” an excited user beamed.
“Hey @richie_strahan I’ve just got some cheese, but I’m missing my grater- can you help me out?” Another quipped of his incredible physique.
While another well-wisher added: “You look great. You need a hot new lover to play with those abs now.”
Earlier in the month it was revealed Alex had fallen for fellow Frankston Bombers footy player, Maegan Luxa.
Since the news broke, heartbroken Richie escaped to Bali on a solo surf trip to seek solace.
“Bali is Richie’s happy place, he can escape all the fanfare and go unnoticed as he wraps his head around everything that’s come to light in recent weeks,” a close friend told Woman’s Day.
And while it’s been rumoured for months that Alex and Richie had split, our source says the decision to break up definitely wasn’t mutual, and Richie is devastated.
“He’s shattered it didn’t work out with Alex, and that she’s been able to move on so quickly.”
Alex has started dating her AFL teammate Maegan Luxa.
