The word ‘whirlwind’ is thrown around a lot when it comes to love and relationships, but when it comes to couple Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer’s recent nuptials, it couldn’t be more applicable.

The couple, who have been dating for years, have revealed they got engaged AND married, with Patrick popping the question before they tied the knot five days later.

Taking to Instagram, Patrick shared the news with fans as well as a series of photos documenting the, well, whirlwind, five days.

It started out like any other vacay.

“Things to do in Tampa in March,” he cheekily began the post.

“1. Catch a sunrise, 2. Propose to girlfriend, 3. Get married 5 days later, 4. Kiss 5. Take photo with best man, 6. Have lunch immediately afterwards because making magic is hungry work ❤️.”

Making magic indeed!

It appears the couple said ‘I do’ in an intimate ceremony on a Tampa Bay beach with their pet dog as the best man.

Harriet wore a simple high neck gown with a sheer lace overlay complete with bright bouquet adorned with pink flowers.

Sweet and simple!

Naturally, the post was flooded with congratulations from fellow stars.

“Well this is brilliant ❤️❤️ Congrats!!! 🎉” Home And Away’s Zoe Ventoura commented.

“HEART EXPLOSION!!!!! So much love ❤️ 💕 you guys. And extra props to the best man for finding the most brilliant bow tie in such a short amount of time. Xxxxxxx,” McLeod’s Daughters’ Michala Banas wrote.

Sarah Snook added: “Hahahah, amazing work you guys. This is just wonderful. Congratulations!!! 🥰😍🥳💜.”

The best man was pretty cute.

Harriet who is best known for her roles in Love Child and The Other Guy first confirmed her relationship with 45-year-old Pat back in 2017 when she revealed she was moving to the US.

“I think you want to be close to the person you’re with,” Dyer told Confidential. “But I think it was a natural thing anyway, I’d probably do it even if he was still here,” she said of her big relocation.

“It’s not a follow-the-leader situation,” she added. “It’s just time, I’m almost 29 and I can’t play pregnant girls forever,” she quipped.
