Guess it’s not a case of third time lucky for actor Nicolas Cage…
A rep for Nicolas and his wife Alice Kim has confirmed to several US publications that the pair have separated.
According to reports, they split back in January and are preparing to divorce.
The couple, who celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary back in August, share one child together, a 10-year-old son, Kal-el Coppola Cage.
The pair were reportedly struggling for some time before they called it quits.
The 52-year old actor met his 32-year-old estranged wife while she was working as a waitress at a restaurant he frequented.
The relationship was scandalous due to the massive age gap, and because Alice was only 20 at the time.
Alice was Nicolas’s third wife.
Alice and Nicolas had a whirlwind relationship, becoming engaged only two months after they first laid eyes on each other.
Nicolas had been married twice before Alice.
Alice was just 20 years old and half Nicolas’s age, when the couple married.
His first marriage to Patricia Arquette lasted for five years, while his subsequent marriage to Lisa-Marie Presley, lasted just five months.
He also has a 25-year-old son called Weston, from a previous relationship with model Christina Fulton.
