It’s the relationship we’re all eager to know more about, and now we’re going to catch a good long look at Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton together at their first joint appearance without their partners.
Kensington Palace confirmed on Friday the Duchess of Cambridge and The Duchess of Sussex will be attending Wimbledon together to cheer on Serena Williams and Angelique Kerber in the Ladies’ Singles Final on Saturday 14th July.
“The Duchess of Cambridge, @Wimbledon Patron, and The Duchess of Sussex will attend the Ladies’ Singles Final on Saturday 14th July #Wimbledon,” the Palace announced on their Instagram account.
The Palace also added that Kate, a Wimbledon Patron and long-time guest at the tournament, along with her husband William will be attending the Gentlemen’s Singles Final on Sunday 15th July.
“On Sunday 15th July, The Duchess of Cambridge along with The Duke of Cambridge will attend the @Wimbledon Gentlemen’s Singles Final #Wimbledon.”
The Duchesses will be attending their first royal engagement together without their partners.
Serena Williams, a close friend and wedding guest of the Duchess of Sussex, will be facing Germany’s Angelique Kerber. There’s no doubt who Meghan will be cheering on!
The tennis champion reached her 10th Wimbledon final in just her 13th match since giving birth to daughter Olympia last year.
We can’t wait to see these two together!
The Duchess of Sussex will be returning from a busy Royal tour of Ireland, where she and her husband Prince Harry have spent the past 3 days.
During the trip, all eyes were on Meghan’s many outfit changes and fabulous looks as the newlyweds hopped from one engagement to another.
Kate is a Wimbledon Patron and has been attending the event for years.

Ever since Harry and Meghan’s extravagant nuptials in May, royal watchers have been on baby bump alert. However, while in Ireland, Meghan spectacularly shut down any rumours that she is currently pregnant, without even saying a word.
On day one of the Royal visit to Ireland, Meghan and Prince Harry attended a summer soiree at the British Ambassador’s residence at Glencairn House in Dublin.
At the function, the Duchess of Sussex was pictured raising a glass of what looks to be champagne during a toast.
And it wasn’t just a stunt glass, the 36-year-old was seen actually drinking from it. Presumably, if Meghan is still drinking alcohol, so there must not be a royal bun in the oven.
