The 30-year-old told the Today show on Monday that everyone continues to ask her: “Who is replacing Joan?”

“I can’t lie and say that I’m amazing. It’s something, to be honest with you, I really don’t like talking about because I haven’t been able to mourn and grieve the way that I want to,” she said.

“Not one person that I have seen or walked up to me or spoken to since the day she passed has … the first thing that comes out of their mouth is, ‘Who’s replacing Joan?'”

The day after Joan’s death, Kelly posted a heartfelt message on Facebook.

“I’m completely heartbroken by the loss of my beloved Joan. Not only was she my boss, she was and will always be my teacher, therapist, closest friend, inspiration and the only grandmother I ever knew. She was family and I will never forget her,” she wrote.

Joan’s daughter, Melissa Rivers, said during E!’s Fashion Police: Remembering Joan special that the show would continue.
