International Women’s Day is a day to celebrate women and girls and all the incredible things they’ve achieved.

This year’s theme was #EachForEqual and people around the globe celebrated gender equality on March 8 in various ways, but some of our favourite celebrities opted to share their own personal messages celebrating the women in their lives.

Instagram was flooded with tributes and heart-filled messages to all the women out there, from mothers and daughters to friends and colleagues.

From Bindi Irwin’s touching shout-out to her mum Terri, to Teresa Palmer’s dedication to her young daughter Poet, we found ourselves getting quite emotional over these gorgeous posts.
