Julia Morris’ I’m a Celeb co-host chatted to the Wentworth Courier about his intriguing and exceptionally private romance.
The pair first got together in September 2016.
“I always find the interest in her surprising,” he confessed.
“I guess I am fairly private and I have always been that way… I’ve never really spoken about relationships a whole lot, I’ve always kept that to myself.”
The beloved TV icon did reveal between them are going well, saying, “she’s good”.
“Everyone is different,” the OG Bondi Vet mused.
“Some people shout it from the rooftops and put it all over social media and that’s fine, each to their own, I’ve just never been someone to do that — but she’s good.”
In November last year, Woman’s Day revealed that the good doctor was set to get on bended knee.
Those close to the couple suspect he could pop the question during filming in South Africa.
“After all, that’s where they fell in love!”
The 39-year-old recently sold his three-bedroom Bondi home for a staggering $4.5 million and is rumoured to be looking for a suitable house – also in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs – where the couple can start their married life together.
It comes after Kendall recently moved in with him.
“She moved out of her Bondi rental as she spent all her time at Chris’ place anyway,” a friend told the magazine.

To find a new home with Kendall.
It sounds like they’ll be hunting for a place with plenty of room for a family, with Chris speaking about his hopes to become a dad.
“When the time is right, the time is right,” he told The Daily Telegraph.
Since the pair first got together in September 2016, their romance has gone from strength to strength, and friends say the handsome star knows he’s found The One.
