Holly Valance’s dream wedding

Holly Valance's dream wedding

The former pop star held a three-day extravaganza.

Elton John provided the entertainment while Richard Branson and Princess Eugenie were among the 300 guests who saw Aussie Holly Valance marry English billionaire Nick Candy.

Family and friends of the pair, who refer to themselves as “Valandy”, were flown to LA from around the globe on private jets for the estimated $2 million wedding celebrations, which ended with a “recovery” beach barbecue at Malibu on Sunday. “It’s one of the most over the top weddings you could ever imagine,” reveals one guest, who says the candles and flowers alone must have cost $100,000. “Nick really has let her have the wedding of her dreams. It was everything Holly wanted and more.”

The guests – who also included David Walliams, Simon Cowell and Jason Donovan – knew they were in for something special when they were hand delivered invitations in beautiful wooden boxes etched with the couple’s entwined initials.

While Holly checked into the Beverly Hills Hotel on Monday with her bridal party to start preparing, guests were only informed of the wedding venue on the day, and asked to donate to Alzheimer’s Research UK and Disability Rights International in lieu of gifts. “It’s incredibly romantic,” confides one guest, who says Elton John agreed to sing Your Song watched by partner David Furnish and 20-month-old son Zachary.
