Cricketer Glenn McGrath and Sara Leonardi have welcomed their first baby!

Beautiful news for Glenn McGrath and his wife Sara as they announce the safe delivery of their brand new baby girl into the world!

According to The Australian Women’s Weekly the bub was born early this morning in Sydney and the doting parents have named her Madison Mary Harper McGrath.

They revealed to the mag in June that they’ve had trouble conceiving but are now over the moon with the safe arrival of their latest addition.

This is the first child for Sara Leonardi, but the third for the cricket star who has teens James and Holly with his late wife Jane.

Jane McGrath tragically died in 2008 after a long battle with breast cancer.

This baby joy didn’t come easy for the pair though, as Glenn needed to undergo an procedure to bypass his vasectomy and Sara went through two rounds of IVF.

They revealed the AWW, “we’re adding to our family and we couldn’t be more delighted.”

Before continuing: “Sara and I are very happy together and the kids are two really happy, normal children and I think, at the end of the day, that’s really the true measure of what Sara and I have built together these last five years of marriage.”

Congratulations to the McGrath’s we could not be happier!
