George and Amal Clooney are settling into parenthood and they’re taking their first family trip with the twins.
In brand new snaps, obtained by TMZ, the couple have been spotted for the first time since the arrival of their daughter Elle and son Alexander.
George and his humanitarian wife flew to Milan, Italy on a private plane, where the new dad was pictured holding a white bassinet with what is presumed to be one of the bubs, while Amal carried the other in a matching bassinet.
“This change is more profound than any change in his life,” George’s dad Nick said about his son becoming a father.
The new parents looked pretty relaxed, rocking jeans and sunnies.
According to insiders, the new family-of-four are in Italy as George and Amal are planning to renew their vows. Of course, the country holds a special place in their heart after they married in Ca’ Farsetti, Venice in northern Italy in 2014.
George also has a sprawling property in Lake Como.
A friend of the couple told Closer magazine, “Amal and George are even planning a welcome party for the twins on their third wedding anniversary, when they will also be renewing their vows in front of close family and friends.”
One thing is certain, the pair just love being parents with Amal’s mum Baria telling People, “Oh my God, they were so beautiful, so happy, so contented. You just look at them and you feel like they’ve been a mother and father for their whole lives.”
The couple married in a lavish Italian ceremony back in 2014.
The 56-year-old became a dad to two on June 6th.
And the good news keeps rolling for the Clooneys – with the former ER star selling his Casamigos Tequila Company to alcoholic beverages company Diageo for a casual billion dollars.
Clooney’s bestie and tequila business partner Rande Gerber told Entertainment Tonight that his mate is loving his new life as a dad.
“He’s so happy right now… Just in life in general and having those kids, you know, it’s an incredible feeling for him,” he said a month ago.
“I did see the babies, Cindy and I went to London and went to the house and spent some time with them. The kids are the perfect mix of George and Amal. I mean, they really are so cute!”
