Erin Molan stuns on the red carpet just a month after being hospitalised with a broken arm

Channel Nine journalist and sports presenter Erin Molan has made a stunning return to the red carpet, exactly a month after she was hospitalised after breaking her arm during a horrible fall at home.

Erin, 37, who is mother to little one-year-old Eliza, and is engaged to police officer Sean Ogilvy, was out of action for nine days after breaking her arm and a bone in her hand in late October.

She slipped down a flight of stairs at home while getting a bottle for her daughter.

At the time, she revealed she was “embarrassed but very grateful” and would be back on deck soon.

And on Tuesday night, Erin stepped out on the red carpet for the first time since her accident, looking absolutely incredible in this purple jumpsuit at the Stan Upfronts in Sydney.

Speaking to 2GB at the time of her accident, Erin revealed she “broke the arm bone off entirely”.

“It’s fairly painful. It’s one of the more painful breaks you can do,” she said.

“But my attitude is always that it could have been so much worse. I live another day so, hooray.”

During an interview with The Australian Women’s Weekly in September, Erin revealed she decided to return to work at The Footy Show six weeks after giving birth to her daughter Eliza via an emergency C-section.

“I have memories of going out during those breaks to breast pump because I was actually leaking through my clothes,” she said in remembrance of those early days of motherhood.

“It was bloody hard. But the reality of our situation is that we need to pay our mortgage. It wasn’t an, ‘I am woman, hear me roar, I must go back to work’ thing. It really was just for our family and our situation.”
