Sean Penn looked seriously smitten as he made out with Leila on a beach in Hawaii last week.
But according to a new report from the New York Post‘s Page Six column, the 56-year-old’s latest fling has broken another woman’s heart.
The publication claims Sean has been dating an unnamed woman and she had assumed she was in an exclusive relationship with the star – until she saw the photos of him frolicking in the water with the Sydney-born beauty.
A friend of the jilted woman says she is “heartbroken” over the turn of events, especially since Sean was so keen during their romance.
“It was calls, flowers, dinners, having her over to his house. She was leery at first,” the insider explained, but she soon changed her opinion after succumbing to Sean’s eager courting and decided that “maybe he’s not this jerky-actor type.”
Leila George is 32 years younger than Sean.
Meanwhile Sean, who split from Charlize Theron last year, seems to be all systems go with his flourishing new romance.
Since their Hawaiian jaunt, Leila and Sean have enjoyed a dinner date and attended the LACMA event in LA on October 6 with Leila donning a bright red wig for the outing.
Leila recently shared this snap of her and Sean working together on an audio book.
Last month, Leila posted a photo of her working in a studio with Sean for an audio book called Bob Honey.
The up and coming actress hails from impressive showbiz parents – her mother is Italian-Australian actress Greta Scacchi and her father is American actor Vincent D’Onofrio, who is just a year older than Sean.
