Yes, they might be small in size but masks are big in their role helping to stop the spread of COVID-19.
Now that they're mandatory in Melbourne, and highly urged elsewhere across Australia especially where social distancing cannot be observed, we're increasingly seeing them grace the faces of many on social media.
Every time a celebrity or influencer wears a mask and posts it on social media, we're reminded of the importance and pertinence of stopping the spread of COVID.
And that's because a mask is not only a physical barrier to potentially harmful bacteria, but it's a mental reminder too.
We're in the midst of a pandemic, and the simple act of wearing a mask could play a vital part in saving lives - which seems a good enough reason to wear one.
