The rumour mill is in full swing this week over claims that Carrie Bickmore and her radio co-host Tommy Little are growing close, following their respective break-ups.
A source tells Woman’s Day the pair have been “leaning on each other” recently, particularly after Carrie, 42, announced she was splitting from her partner of 11 years, Chris Walker, in January.

(Image: Instagram)“Carrie has always found comfort in Tommy,” says our insider. “But this time is different – they’re both single! She feels there could be something.”
The insider adds that “hours after announcing her split from Chris, Carrie was back on the air with Tommy” as she feels her safest when she’s with him.
“He just makes her laugh and they have so much fun together – that’s all Carrie’s after following the tough couple of months she’s had.”
Tommy’s last relationship is believed to have been with social media entrepreneur Natalie Kyriacou, however the 38-year-old comedian confirmed they had split when he revealed he’d been using dating app Bumble to talk to women late last year.

(Image: Instagram)While Tommy is said to be “open” to seeing where things go with Carrie, he’s extra determined not to make things awkward at their workplace.
“He knows they’re a dynamic duo and they’re signed on to SCA’s Hit Network until 2026 – so the last thing he wants to do is jeopardise that gig now he’s pulled back from The Project,” the insider says.

The famous radio duo reignited rumours surrounding their potential relationship at the 2023 Cannes in Cairns festival, with the pair appearing on together on an industry panel, despite the festival not rating a mention on either of The Project alumni’s social media.
Speculation surrounding the couple also began to swell in the wake of the 2022 Australian Commercial Radio Awards, in which Bickmore shared a snap of the duo looking cozy on Instagram.
“Tommy [is] punchin’…. best duo EVER,” wrote one fan.
The rumours of the famous friends having a romantic connection originated when Carrie and Tommy – who both reside in Melbourne – attended a media luncheon in Sydney in early March 2023, and according to a stunned onlooker, the pair did very little to hide their attraction to each other.
“Their chemistry was off the charts,” says the attendee. “It was very clear they didn’t want to be there – the only thing getting them through it all was each other. They didn’t leave each other’s side the entire time.”

(Image: Instagram)And regardless of their audience being mostly from the media, they weren’t shying away. “They didn’t seem to care that everyone was looking,” the spy adds. “If you didn’t know them, you’d think they were a couple!”
Last year, Tommy set tongues wagging when he referred to Carrie as his “wife” after he found a list of “facts” about himself online.
“My real name is Thommy, but everything else is 100 per cent accurate,” he wrote online.
