They shocked the world when they announced last September that they were splitting after twelve years and six kids together.
But since taking their ensuing custody battle behind closed doors, the drama surrounding Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce seems to have subsided.
But all that’s about to change, as celebrity biographer Ian Halperin’s upcoming documentary Broken: The Incredible Story of Brangelina, is set to expose even more of the former couple’s scandalous secrets.
And one of it’s biggest bombshell claims? The fact that Brad and Ange were never in love with each other! Wait, what?!
Indeed, while Brad once revealed that it was exciting for he and Ange’s kids Maddox, 15, Pax, 13, Zahara, 12, Shiloh, 11, and twins Vivienne and Knox, eight, to watch their flick Mr & Mrs Smith as “not a lot of people get to see a movie where their parents fell in love,” in an exclusive chat with NW, Ian tells us that’s not what happened at all.
“I have experts [in the documentary] who’ve examined the relationship and they conclude unwaveringly that they fell in love with each other’s characters, not with Brad and Angelina,” Ian tells NW.
“This is extremely dangerous because one day you wake up and you essentially say, ‘Who am I with?’ You have no idea once you’re out of character… you become a complete stranger to the person who you’ve fallen in love with, and you know nothing about them. It’s very common in Hollywood.”
But that’s not all that Ian’s doco is claiming. The best-selling author says while he’s sources believe Brad, 53, and Ange, 42, are on the verge of reconciling, it’s not for romantic reasons.

“Ange’s finally put the numbers together and discovered Brangelina’s worth much more together than apart,” he tells NW.
“She and Brad aren’t living the life they once did, and that reality has kicked in. She did the accounting and realised that Brangelina was making tonnes of money and now they’re apart, the receipts aren’t coming in the way they used to."
"She’s not in love with Brad… If they would ever get back together, it would be a relationship of convenience.”
