These days, it seems like Nicole Kidman’s first marriage to Tom Cruise was a lifetime ago.
But there’s still those uncanny reminders – from throwback iconic snaps from the early 00s, to that glorious meme-worthy image of Nicole post-divorce finalisation, right back to any updates from the children both she and Tom share.
Of course, Bella and Connor Kidman-Cruise are now both adults in their 20s, and seem to have chosen a life well away from the public eye unlike their famous parents.
Though every once in a while, we’re reminded of how quickly they’ve grown up with a rare new snap.
Taking the lead in giving fans an update, Bella Kidman Cruise, now 27, has confirmed that she is indeed alive and well after sharing a candid selfie snap to her Instagram account.
In the picture, she can be seen looking into a mirror with some superimposed stars across her face and the surrounding room.
“All that glitters is gold.. oh wait, it’s just another Instagram filter,” she quipped in the caption.
A rare snap of Bella was posted to her inconspicuous Instagram account.
(Instagram)Bella’s 2,000-strong following were clearly pleasantly surprised with the snap, with one writing in the comments: “You are so great and beautiful girl.”
Another called Bella’s bluff, telling her: “Oh you could’ve fooled me.”
A talented creative, Bella’s page features a number of her own pieces of art, including cartoon-esque portraits and graphic designs portraying humans, animals and aliens.
Scattered between the creations are real life images from her travels – scenic snaps and cosy interior portraits, including one of her cat.
She describes herself in her bio as “human. artist.”
After getting married in 1990, Nicole and Tom adopted Bella as well as her younger brother, Connor, who is now 25.
The parents very rarely speak about or are seen with their two children, though it’s understood they still have a relationship with them.
It’s been reported that both Bella and Connor remained deeply involved in Scientology alongside their dad, Tom Cruise.
Nicole previously spoke of the topic to WHO, simply stating: “I’m very private about all that. I have to protect all those relationships. I know 150 per cent that I would give up my life for my children because it’s what my purpose is.”
Bella and Connor like to keep their private lives under wraps.

Nicole spoke of the line herself, saying: “It’s very exciting,” Nicole told WHO of Bella’s label.
“I think it’s such a great way to express and Bella is a beautiful drawer as well, she’s always been able to draw.”
