Natasha Todd

Natasha Todd is the Associate Editor of Take 5, one of Australia’s leading real-life magazines, where she oversees content spanning extraordinary true stories, true crime, lifestyle, health, beauty, travel, food, puzzles and prizes. A journalist and editor with more than 13 years of experience across the UK and Australian media, Natasha holds a Master’s degree in Magazine Journalism from the University of Sheffield. She began her career at UK news agency SWNS, writing for major nationals, including The Sun, Daily Mail, Daily Mirror and Daily Star. After three years, Natasha moved to London to become a Senior Features Writer at that’s life! magazine, specialising in compelling first-person and real-life stories. She later helped launch, then manage, The Story People, Bauer Media’s in-house story agency, before serving as Head of Content, overseeing real-life editorial content across some of the UK’s biggest women’s magazine brands, including Take a Break, that’s life!, Closer, Fate & Fortune, Bella, and Crime Scene. Natasha relocated to Australia in 2023, joining Take 5 as Deputy Features Editor. She was promoted to Associate Editor just three months later and has since also stepped into the roles of Acting Deputy Editor and Editor, leading the magazine during maternity cover. Throughout her career, Natasha has interviewed hundreds of people and covered everything from extraordinary relationships and remarkable survival stories to true crime, health and the incredible twists and turns of everyday life. She is passionate about finding fascinating real-life stories and telling them with warmth, accuracy and sensitivity.
