He’s not even one-year-old yet but Taj Gruell is already following in the footsteps of his grandmother Lisa Curry!
Taking to Instagram, the former Olympian shared an adorable clip of her daughter Morgan Gruell with baby Taj in the pool during a swimming lesson.
“And a little wave to Grannie during swim class 🥰,” Lisa sweetly captioned the video in which Taj gleefully recognises Lisa filming from the sidelines.
“Swimming lessons for babies are so important so get them in the water as soon as you can 💙.”
Lisa’s fans and followers couldn’t resist commenting on the cute clip.
“Ah this is glorious,” TV personality Osher Günsberg wrote.
“The wave!! So adorable,” exclaimed another.

The former Olympian is a grannie to Taj, who turns one in November and Flynn, who Morgan and husband Ryan Gruell welcomed in 2018.
“The best thing about being a grandparent is you’re able to have so much fun with them and then give them back!” she laughed to Now To Love back in 2019.

(Instagram)Taj’s arrival came shortly after the Curry-Kenny family was rocked by tragedy when Lisa and ex-husband Grant Kenny’s eldest daughter Jaimi passed away, aged 33 following a private battle with a long-term illness.
“IT’S A BOY💙💙💙💙💙💙Taj Grant Gruell arrived safely into this world last Thursday, 5th November 2020, 8lb 4oz (for the oldies like me who can relate better to pounds!!),” she joked on Instagram when the little one was born.
“A beautiful second son for my Morgan and Ryan and little bro for Flynn…. baby spam coming. Congratulations Morgan, Ryan and Flynn xxxxxx.”
