Princess Mary forms a special bond with a young girl at her latest engagement

The Australian-born royal captures hearts once again!
Crown Princess Mary of Denmark

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark dropped by the Red Cross of the Capital in Copenhagen on Thursday, April 27.

The 45-year-old chose to wear a pair of wide-legged patterned trousers for the important occasion and cleverly balanced the on-trend look with a classic royal blue overcoat. She accented the ensemble with a simple pair of black pumps and a handbag from Italian designer Bottega Veneta.

Upon arrival, the mother-of-four, who is married to Frederik, Crown Prince of Denmark, shared a special chat with a sweet young girl.

The girl, who appeared to dress-up for the special rendezvous with a flower crown, presented the royal with a delightful posy of flowers.

The event, a collaborative project between The Mary Foundation and the Danish Red Cross, saw the much loved royal meet with those involved in her project ‘Værket.’

The admirable project seeks to provide a greater amount of attention to loneliness among adults and hopes to support the many people who lack other people in their everyday life.

According to the initiative’s website, “the overall aim of the project is to bring people together and to strengthen them in creating strong and lasting networks.”

Mary and husband Fred share four children, Prince Christian, 11, Princess Isabella, 10, and six year old twins Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.

The Danish Royal Family recently released a set of beautiful new portraits in celebration of the couple’s first daughter’s 10th birthday.

Darling Isabella appears all grown up and drop dead gorgeous in the images, which highlight her effortless grace and natural beauty.

One particular snap shows the youngster sitting atop a ledge in a simple black frock. Her dark blonde locks fall by her sides in loose ringlets as she smiles up at the camera, looking the spitting image of her Tasmanian-born mother.

Another shows a more relaxed side to the third-in-line. In a black and white striped long-sleeve shirt, Isabella sits with her back to a mirror.

While Princess Mary has often opted to release portraits she’s shot herself to mark her children’s birthdays, this time, the images were taken by renowned photographer, Steen Evald.
